Key Duties and Responsibilities

Key Objective

Lead, design, and execute a data-driven content marketing strategy that elevates brand authority, drives qualified demand, and connects with cybersecurity decision-makers – all while fostering innovation through SEO, AEO, and AI-enabled marketing excellence, and ensuring alignment across teams to deliver measurable business impact.

Content Strategy & Execution

  • Design and execute a comprehensive content strategy that supports business goals, brand awareness, and lead generation.
  • Develop compelling, technically accurate content that resonates with senior IT and cybersecurity leaders.
  • Drive the full content lifecycle – ideation, creation, distribution, optimization, and performance measurement.
  • Own and manage all website copy to ensure messaging consistency, clarity, and alignment with overall content strategy.
  • Create diverse content formats: blogs, case studies, eBooks, video scripts, podcasts, newsletters, infographics, and social media posts.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging, tone, and voice across all channels and materials.

SEO / AEO Optimization

  • Lead SEO and AEO (AI Engine Optimization) strategies to ensure discoverability across search engines and AI-driven platforms.
  • Use data and analytics to optimize performance across digital channels.
  • Continuously improve keyword targeting, content structure, and metadata to increase reach and authority.

AI-Driven Marketing & Innovation

  • Incorporate AI tools and frameworks beyond generative AI to improve efficiency, personalization, and audience targeting.
  • Develop forward-looking content strategies aligned with evolving digital and AI trends.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with the executive team, and subject matter experts to translate cybersecurity insights into market-facing stories.
  • Partner with the Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to ensure alignment on messaging, brand priorities, and campaign execution.
  • Serve as a content strategist for video production, supporting scripting, messaging, and channel distribution.

Campaign & Calendar Management

  • Own and manage the integrated marketing calendar – balancing brand awareness, thought leadership, and lead generation initiatives.
  • Oversee production timelines, ensuring timely delivery of all content assets.
  • Measure campaign effectiveness and report on key metrics related to reach, engagement, and conversions.

Audience Insight & Market Intelligence

  • Develop deep understanding of SecurIT360’s target audience – CTOs, IT Directors, and CISOs in mid-market enterprises.
  • Conduct persona research, gather insights, and use data to tailor content to audience pain points and decision-making behaviors.
  • Explore and test emerging channels (podcasts, industry forums, professional networks) to expand reach and engagement.

Qualifications Essential, Non-Negotiable Qualifications

  • Proven cybersecurity industry marketing experience.
  • Strong expertise in SEO and AEO with measurable results.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply AI-driven marketing approaches to enhance content strategy.
  • Deep understanding of content marketing as a cornerstone for digital growth.

  • Experience in mid-market enterprise environments (not SMB).
  • Exposure to multiple industries, ideally legal or healthcare.
  • B2B content marketing experience with emphasis on thought leadership and lead nurturing.
  • Understanding of other digital disciplines (email, paid social, analytics, web optimization).

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • Minimum 4+ years of B2B content marketing experience, preferably in cybersecurity, IT services, or related technology sectors.
